When the guest is gayly greeted, And within is primly seated, Your welcome is so earnest that he wants to come again. So the seeds awake, enraptured At the moisture they have captured, Will swell. and burst to beautify the forest and the glen. When Nature’s tears are falling, Then in sympathy she’s calling To hearts that lie a-sleeping ’neath the surface of the ground.
