State Camps Held
MARCH, 1903.
Belegates Elected and State Ofticers Chosen—Where Next State Camps Will Be Held
The several state camps, so far as re-
ported, were very harmonious gather-
ings. While there was a little strife
for endorsements in some of the states,
in the most of them the action was
harmonious and little opposition. The
Supreme Camp is to be held at Indian-
apolis Tuesday, May 12, and there were
many in each state who wished to be
sent as delegates. Of course, with only
132 delegates to be chosen in the twen-
ty-six states of the jurisdiction, it left
only a very few for each state, some
of the smallest having only one dele-
gate, while the largest had only twen-
ty-eight. The basis of representation
to the Supreme Camp was one delegate
for each 1000 members in a state. The
following shows the membership in
each state, the number of delegates
from each state to the Supreme Camp
and the number of Supreme Officers
who will have a vote in the Supreme
Camp, making a total of 132 dele-
gates and 19 Supreme Officers, or
a total of 151. In addition, three
members of the ritual and law com-
‘mittee, three members of the benefici-
ary committee, the editor of the of-
ficial paper and the Beneficiary Re-
corder are also made members of the
Supreme Camps, with all the rights of |
a delegate except to vote:
