ele Bells
t ep .. of the Christmas-tide, ring your sweet message,
Fling it abroad over all the glad earth;
Ring it to Jonely hearts waiting for comfort,
Tell the glad news of the dear Christ-child’s birth.
Bells of the Christmas-tide, ringing and swinging,
Tell us the angel's song over again;
Ring it so slowly, insistently, lowly,
Into our hearts shall steal ‘good will to men.’
Bells of the Christmas-tide, rhyming and chiming,
Sing of the Christ-child, our Savior, again,
‘Til all the world shall go singing in gladness,
‘Peace be on earth, and good will unto men.”
Dolume XXI1. December, 1921. Number 12.
